The gatekeeper's lodge. Built in 1898 as part of Blake's Isolation Hospital by local brewer and philanthropist Thomas Naish Blake, this later became Gosport's Maternity Hospital and birthplace of many Gosport residents. The site closed in 1993 but its name continues as the maternity ward in the War Memorial Hospital on Bury Road.

People are generally able to find my address quite easily, but I can discuss any difficulties you may experience on the telephone. Parking is available on the driveway, and the therapy room is wheelchair accessible. The Number 1 Eclipse bus also stops on Elson Road at the end of Ham Lane, and this is less than five minutes walk from my address.
